Our Story |
After a life-changing trip to Grasse in the south of France — the historic heart of perfume making — our founders fell in love with the art, ritual, and pure joy of creating a personal scent. That perfume-making workshop stayed with them. They returned to Indianapolis determined to bring that same hands-on, elegant experience home so others could discover how meaningful and fun it is to design a fragrance that’s truly yours.

Fragrance is personal. It can be playful, bold, comforting, seductive, or quietly powerful; it can hold memories and tell a story. At Truly Fragrance Bar we pair expert guidance with a warm, welcoming atmosphere so anyone — from first-time scent-seekers to fragrance lovers — can leave with a bespoke perfume they actually love.
The Truly Experience |
We’ve designed each class and event to be an experience: intimate, educational, and celebratory. When you book a scent class you’ll enjoy step-by-step instruction from our knowledgeable staff, and the history and basics of perfumery explained in plain language.
At the end of class we enjoy a wine, champagne/non-alcoholic toast, and you walk away with a named 30 ml bottle of your own handcrafted fragrance.
Meet Kelley and Tony |
Kelley and Tony are the heart of Truly Fragrance Bar. Kelley’s trip to Grasse inspired the concept; together they refined the model by researching classes and fragrance studios back home and then built a welcoming space where people can create something memorable. Their goal was simple: craft a luxury, hands-on experience that’s fun, educational, and utterly unforgettable.
